Luke came out to look at our AC. He was able to quickly diagnose that mechanically the unit was good, however nearly all of the refrigerant had leaked out. He checked the lines running into our home all the way to our furnace, which Luke also inspected. He found some critical failures in our 37yr old furnace that were irreparable. With a quick quote on a new system we were scheduled for installation the very next day.

I would definitely recommend Kettle Moraine Heating and Air conditioning. I was having trouble with my radon system, and they came out, identified the problem, and corrected the issue immediately. Now my radon system is working perfectly well, and I am no longer having the issues I was having. They were friendly and very effective. Original review written Fall 2023. My thermostat went out so I called my go-to heating company. Brent Von Hoffman was here in 2 hours and worked about 6 hrs over 2 days. The thermostat was the main problem but I was impressed that he found many components that were having problems inside the furnace, but were under warranty. Very happy to get heat again and a professional job of fixing it.Update: Brent came back in Spring '24 to complete the T-stat job that had to wait for warm weather and balance the airflow. He's still the greatest. A pro who happily answered all my questions and did a great job. I love this company.

Been in our home almost 35 years. Couple months ago, I saw water on the floor under our washing machine. Decided to replace the washer. Went to the basement to look above where the laundry room water supply lines come up through the floor and saw an electrical junction box under the supply lines. Checking the box, there were mineral deposits on the cover, suggesting water leak in the past. Figuring electricity and water don't mix too well, I called KM Heating & A/C's electrical division to have someone come out to move the junction box, as our sump pump is plugged into a socket on the junction box. Josh was out on April 19 to do the repair. He chose to move the box over a foot away from the water supply line and managed to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Wiring was added and new conduit with connectors were put in. Couldn't be happier to know the new junction box won't get wet, spark up, or cause a fire. New box and conduit can be seen in the picture.

We had a great experience having Kettle Moraine install a mini split heat pump on our sunroom so we can use it year-round. Scheduling the estimate was really easy, Jay was very patient with us as we asked a lot of questions about the different options we could use for the room, and then Sherri in the office was awesome for figuring out our final details and payments. The crew on the install day was on time, didn’t leave any trace that they were even here, and did a great job. The pricing was comparable with the other big companies in the area but we felt most comfortable with the staff at KM.

I called Kettle Moraine Heating & Cooling llc to have an AC unit that had been out of service inspected and returned to operation. The AC unit had not been in use for a few years and had a potential unknown leak. Luke contacted me and arranged an arrival time and he arrived at the stated time. He was very thorough in his inspection of my complete system. Luke determined it was likely that a previous contractor had put leak stop into my systems coil. Luke informed me that although it was not KMHC’s practice to do this he said it seemed likely that it may have worked to fix the leak however was clear that although he had charged the AC system with pressure to test for leaks that it was possible that the system still had some leak somewhere that could reappear. He told me the options of either taking a bit of a risk and charging the system or replacement. He was clear that charging the system offered no guarantee but that there was a potential to save quiet a bit of money if it did work. We chose this option and are moving forward with some confidence that we are hopefully making the right choice although there is a risk. Upon inspecting our complete system Luke determined that our Furnace blower was not working properly and thankfully it was indeed still under warranty which in the end will save me $1800 dollars on replacement. Luke ordered a replacement blower and he will call me and return to install it . I am very confident in the work and inspection that was done and will always return to Kettle Moraine Heating and cooling in the future.
