Welcome to an extra spooky edition of Bill’s Bulletin! It certainly took a while, but after this past weekend, I think it’s safe to say fall is finally here.
Halloween is also right around the corner. That special time of year when it’s okay for our kids to take candy from strangers ????.
Anyway, let’s get to it and take a ghostly plunge into this month’s bone-chilling bulletin!

Disguised as innocent phone chargers, cable boxes, and electronic apparitions, their true presence is most easily detected in the dead of night. Keep Your Jack-O-Lanterns Mold Free

Tired of your jack-o-lanterns turning black and moldy a few days after carving? Apply a liberal amount of mold control spray to the inside of your pumpkin. Mold control spray is available at most big box stores.
Reapply as necessary.

Better Ways to Dispose Pumpkins

Rather than tossing your pumpkins in the garbage so they end up in a landfill, consider using them for composting or feeding wildlife and/or livestock.
Please note uncarved pumpkins are more ideal for animal feed but either carved or uncarved pumpkins are great for composting!
